Rash Treatment
"Rash" is a general term for a wide variety of skin conditions. A rash refers to a change that affects the skin which may appear as a red patch, small or large, hard or soft bumps, scales or blisters on the skin. A rash can itch, burn, hurt or be asymptomatic depending on the etiology.
A rash may be a sign of a more serious illness, such as Lyme Disease, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, liver disease, diabetes, thyroid disease, kidney disease or some type of cancer. If you experience a rash that does not go away on its own, make an appointment to see Dr. Oshman to have it properly diagnosed and treated.
